English Language Challenges

 English

English it is an important language people must know, because it allows someone to communicate with foreigners and is something vital at the moment of going to foreign countries. It is a language that allows people to go to different countries without the fear of not knowing the idiom of the country they are going. 

 

Experiencies

I had a lot of good experiences learning english at university. The main thing is that teachers are so welcoming, kind and comprehensible (at least the two I had). They are very good people that looks a way of teaching english from the area their students like, which is something hard but they still do. The use of blog was also helpful because sometimes people needs to unburden, so writing about you or your dreams is something that I really like, and also because it helps someone to develop skills at writing, that is something I really love. You know that at least, will be a person that would indeed read it, even if it is only one, that is enough for me.

I feel very good at english and I am not that afraid of going to a foreign country where they speak english. My english is not perfect, but I think that I am able to keep a conversation on. I think in slang or in street I would be very good, but in formal aspects not that good because I would be thinking a lot what I would say. I would improve my communication and that is something I have been working, talking with strangers that speaks english, and they say I am good at, but I am not satisfied with that and also I have been looking for stranger people. Outside english class I use a lot, because I have made a lot of friends talking english, even with writing and talking. They are very nice and I know that talking with people that speaks english will be the best exercise I can make to practice communication.

Changes to my study Programme

 Study Programme

Study Programme involves a lot of things, such as faculty facilities and teaching methods. They are factors that affects in a student way to learn.

Faculty Facilities

One thing I find lacking is decoration. Faculty Entrance is like a desert. It looks so empty and just a building with nothing around. I think everything in faculty is good and fulfills their purpose, but I feel that there could be more trees or even a bigger square. Infrastucture is good because it leads a path to the different buildings, but in my opinion is just that. Just a way to-go-and-leave because there are not a lot of recreative areas (at least what I have seen).

I know is money and faculty facilities fulfills their role, but I think more decoration or bigger squares and more recreative areas would make the faculty look better. Also the front entrance, they could sow plants or put decoration/synthetic grass so it look more vivid and greener. But I feel everything fulfills their role so I am OK with that.

Time Travel to the Future

Time Travel

Time Travel is an interesting thing. I have always been an imaginative and creative person. I like to explore unexplored ideas, such as Time Travel that we know is not something that is still confirmed to be possible.

If I travel to the Future

The first thing I would do is check is if my family is good and safe. My friends too, they are not that much so I would not waste all of my time checking each one of them (I would if so). I care a lot of my close acquaintances. Because of pandemic I would also check if there is already a treatment or vaccine for COVID. I would not make a lot if I travel to the future, because I have always been someone that remembers past experience, and I want to change a lot of them. I want to fix a lot of things, and I can not make it if I travel to the future. That is why if I travel to the future I just would do something that benefits others. I would not like to live in the future even if it is a good and calm future, because I live in the present and I would have lost a lot of experiences, I would have lost time with my family and friends, I would have lost experiences that could make me stronger (mentally).

My Future Job

Future Job

I have never been someone that aspires to future. I have always been someone that lives his own world. I am more imaginative, and my goal is just graduate from my career.

My Job

I would like to have a job related in forensics. I always have been interested in crime scenes and investigation, so applying my knowledge in a forensic laboratory would be gratifying. That is how I imagine it. I would not like to work in my country Chile, but I do not want to leave my family. Because of that I would prefer work indoors than outdoors, but if I go outdoors with my family I would like to go to Scotland, and maybe another countries, but I would not travel a lot. I do not focus on salary a lot, because I do not think it matters at the moment if you enjoy something or not. It is just like a reward of what you have done, and sometimes does not cover all the time you worked, that is why I do not interest on salary.

Movies and People

Mostly of people have a movie that they would watch again and again because they enjoy it a lot. At least, that's my case and I saw I'm not the only one.

My Favourite Movie

Without a doubt my favourite movie is "Legally Blonde", starring Reese Witherspoon, a famous actress and an Oscar Winner. It is a comedy movie involving Elle Woods, the protagonist, that follow the typical blonde stereotype. She gets into Harvard University and attemps to win back her ex-boyfriend. At the beggining, she did not know anything and she mostly of the time was out of context. Despite all the stereotypes, she triumphs as a successful lawyer, when no one had faith in her. 

Not all the comedy based I love the movie, but the message it covers. People can go over the stereotypes, they just need faith. It is well developed and shows that anyone can triumph if they want. The characters are friendly too. I always liked crime-based books/movies, so I loved the part of the trial. It was a mix of comedy and seriousness. I can not ask more in a movie. I would recommend it without a doubt.

Pharmacist in the World

Pharmacist

Pharmacists are very essential in this world, because there is no other profession that studies medicaments. Pharmacists are the people in charge of medicaments, its development and distribution, and their knowledge is very helpuf in the world.

 

 How it affects the world?

A question that is easy to answer. The fact that people have access to medicaments and the production of them are thanks to Pharmacist. Without them medicaments could not arrive at certain zones, and probably there will be no production of them, hence no distribution. Pharmacists already make the world better, because they help in diseases as an employee health.

Personally, I think there are very few Pharmacists involved in politics, at least in my country Chile. I've never seen a Pharmacist in politics, then I ask, why?. As I said before, Pharmacists are very important because they are the professionals in charge of medicaments. Some people go to another countries to buy medicaments because here in Chile they are expensive in certain zones. Being true that some pharmacies sells medicaments at low price, people complain about medicament prices, and as I said before, no Pharmacist in politics takes an action in that. More Pharmacists in politics would allow to discuss medicaments prices and take actions in some pharmacies, also they may answer to people complaints (and no other employee health). It could be a way to improve the world.

My best Holidays

 Holidays

Holidays are probably the favourite time of young people. There are a lot of things to do in holidays, despite some others have less time of holidays.

Pucón

My best holidays were in Pucón, located in Araucania Region, Chile. I went there in my study tour when I was 17 years old, with almost all of my classmates. At the beginning, I did not want to go because I knew the study tour would be expensive for me and my family, and I did not want to bother them. I did not talk anything of this with my family or anyone about that, but it was in a class meeting that my family knew about this study tour.

I still do not know if I should feel bad for that, but I am glad I could go there, because they were my  best holidays. I was one week there with my classmates and I am glad that my friends also were there. We did a lot of activities (like rafting and paintball) and visited lot of places (squares, restaurants and even the Villarica Volcano). Despite I missed my family, it has been the best holiday because it helped me to develop social skills and be stand-alone in various situations. I am used to be on my own world, so exploring a new place it was a constructive experience for me, and by far, the best one.
